NORMS
LPE 80 and PE 100 resin tubes for water supply and transportation of liquids under pressure, which diameters are from 20 mm. up to 500 mm., comply with DIN 8074, IRAM 13485/98 norms.
DIN 8074 IRAM 13485/98 comes from ISO 4427: 1996 specifications.
Polythene tubes are also used for gas networks, complying with ISO 4437 norms, BRITISH GAS y NGA 1- 129 norms, and authorized by Instituto del Gas Argentino, register No. 1740.
Other norms have been considered to determine the polythene tubes specifications.
The following specifications are:

  • ISO 161 - 1: 1996: Thermoplastic tubing for transportation of fluids.
Nominal external diameters and nominal pressures.
  • ISO 1133: 1996 – Plastics - Determination for thermoplastic fusion proportion flow.
