Why are polythene tubes more resistant than tubes made from other kinds of plastic? |

Why are they economically convenient? Answ.: TPS tubes combine the classical advantages of PE with excellent mechanical and physical properties, plus a greater resistance, enabling the building of longer-life networks for different applications, and thereby making their use the most economical option.

What kinds of projects can be carried out using these tubes? Answ.: TPS tubes are used in liquid and gas distribution networks, as well as for transporting compressed air, protecting electric or phone installations, agricultural irrigation networks, restoring (relining) deteriorated channeling, hydraulic transporting of wash-off in mining, and many different building projects.

Can the tubes be manufactured in short sections, or what other presentations are there? Answ.: The tubes can be coiled into rolls for diameters between 20 and 180mm; for larger diameters, they can be supplied in 6 and 12 meter sections, or sections of the length required by the customer, the only limitation being transport regulations.

How many meters can be coiled? Answ.: Length of the coils depends on the diameter and thickness of the wall of the tubes, since thinner tubes can not be coiled as the tube wall would break. For further information, see the coil winding chart.

How can the tubes be joined together? Answ.: The tubes can be joined in different ways. The mechanical or compression joint is used for external diameters of less than 110mm, and the accessories for this are very practical. Tubes can also be joined by electro fusion or thermal fusion welding, regardless of diameter.

What guarantee do the products have? Answ.: The TPS tubes have a minimum useful life of 50 years, as also the connections in each installation, resulting in a cost reduction in the users fixed investments.

Do they withstand extreme temperatures? Answ.: The TPS tubes resist temperatures from 20º Celsius to 60º Celsius.
